The rive flat bottom or rive saintongeaise is widely used because it is very easy to install and adapts to mechanical tile,it is a roof edge finishing accessory. It ensures the sealing of the edge and the gable wall.
This rive is also aesthetic and original (natural incombustible materials, authentic appearance, stable and solid), while the range of colors adapt to the color of your roof.
It is colored on both sides and the cut edge.
We do not recommend any specific bonding (at the craftsman's choice). As a manufacturer, we are not able to recommend the use of these products that we are not familiar with.
However, our loyal customers sometimes use:
-Bastard mortar based on lime
-Multibat for example-
-Or WEBER SCELLE gray color or other for sealing
-Or NTH LABORATORY PROTECTION OF HABITAT MASTIC GLUE FOR FIXING
-Or SIKAFLEX PRO 11FC
-SAINT-ASTIER lime sealing with 0/2 sand.
1 bucket of lime and 2 buckets of sand.
DO NOT SEAL WITH PURE CEMENT!!
That said, internally, we have used PAREXLANDKO 605 COL'TUILES glue and we know that it holds on to our tiles. There is no technical sheet that requires you to do this or that way.
