"Roman" model wall coping

An exceptional wall coping, built to last

The Roman wall coping combines durability, elegance, and versatility.

Thanks to its carefully engineered profile, it fits perfectly on both straight and curved walls, providing a refined, harmonious finish that enhances any landscaping style.

Made from terracotta, it offers long-lasting protection for low walls against the elements by facilitating excellent rainwater runoff. Its design naturally limits moisture retention, thereby reducing the growth of moss and algae.

Resistant to frost, UV rays, and the passage of time, the Roman wall coping is the ideal solution for combining aesthetics, performance, and longevity, while bringing the authentic charm of terracotta to your outdoor spaces.

A premium finish for lasting protection of your masonry.

Installation advice:

Installing the lime mortar or cement mortar. Provide a slight slope on the outside of the wall to allow the flow of rainwater. Do not block the tile completely : leave a slight air passage under the tile to allow for ventilation .

  1. Installation of two rulers with a minimum slope of 15%
  2. Realization of a mortar:
    • "bastard" (3 seals of sand + 1 seal of lime + 1 seal of cement)
    • “multibat” based mortar
    • “tradiblanc” according to desired finish
  3. Installation of the cement studs as the wall covering is sealed (distance of the studs along the length of the wall 18cm between axis at the front and at the back of the wall)
  4. Recommended minimum overhang 4 cm
  5. Closing under the tiles after removal of the rulers, leaving an air space under the tiles (essential to prevent the tiles from freezing).
