Ridge cap 0.50

Ridge tiles are wider than "classic" pan tiles and feature a textured surface for better mortar adhesion.

The Tuilerie LAMBERT terracotta ridge tile is designed to join two roof slopes covered with pan tiles.

It covers the ridge line and helps ensure the roof remains watertight.

The Tuilerie LAMBERT ridge tile is installed using mortar bedding.

Several shades are available for this product (see below).

Mortar-bedded ridge tile installation

The masonry ridge consists of sealing it with lime mortar.

Sealing with SAINT-ASTIER lime with 0/2 sand.

1 bucket of lime and 2 buckets of sand.

Elastic, waterproof, the filling is rarely subject to cracking.

Placed on a bed of mortar (on either side of the ridge line), the ridges are fixed after the elimination of the excess mortar making the structure stable and solid.
